This park is over 13.000 ha and it is located in the Catalonian pre-coastal mountain range. Its unique geological features are present everywhere. Also its singularity lies on the shapes of its topography, with needles, monoliths, and crevices that accompany us along the way and that will make climbers extremely happy. Its proximity to Barcelona (60 km) makes it a must for hikers and mountain lovers alike. Inside, we will find small dwellings of medieval origin, and Romanesque churches constitute a historical patrimony of great value.
Level 3 (on a scale of 5). A completed guided Walk. Start walking point at La Mola Square in Matadepera. The trail goes across the Ilex forest, Castellassa de Can Torres, Santa Agnes, Morral del Drac and gets the top of Sant Llorenç mountain (1.108 m) acumulated climbing about 700 meters and them down back across Can pobla and Tomes de Can Robert. Distance 14 km. Hike duration 6h, plus 1,5h transfer and 1,5h return. Please be dressed in your hiking boots, mountain clothes according to weather forecast, follow update comments, and rain jacket (recommended GoreTex).
